Father and Son
Ps was just casually mentioning that wouldn’t it be great if he can watch videos of himself when he was young.
I thought this was really something amazing. I think if all of us can see how our parents care for us when we were young and helpless, how they express love towards us… Many times, conflicts between children and parents would probably be reduced… we need not have to wait for ourselves to become parents in order to see that our parents have made a lot of sacrifices for us…
I think I was especially touched because many fathers and sons almost always end up in conflict. I told BK why must my brother quarrel with my dad so often? After all, there aren’t many years left for them to have time for each other… At that moment, if I can show him a video of how much my dad loved him and took care of him while he was young, like feeding him, changing him, kissing him, hugging him etc… Would that probably change his attitude a little bit more… Of course, no one’s perfect, my dad has probably said some harsh words that trigger the conflict.
So now, I am trying to capture videos of BK and Eden together… Hopefully when Eden grows up, I can show it to him
